Company Secretarial Service

Currently all Private and Public Limited Companies in the United Kingdom are governed by the terms of the Companies Act 1985 as subsequently amended. This legislation requires all companies to have at least one director and separately one company secretary. The present reform of companies’ law being considered by Parliament will remove the requirement for a Company Secretary but it is anticipated that many companies will find the continued use of a company secretary to be a useful tool in their drive to achieve good corporate governance.

For Private Limited Companies we offer the following services:

  1. Company Incorporation: let us set up your new exactly as you want it
  2. We will lodge those returns and forms you keep forgetting
  3. We will chase you and your accountants to ensure the accounts are lodged on time avoiding an unnecessary fine
  4. We will remind you about the Inland Revenue CT600 form before you forget and incur a fine
  5. We will attend meetings of your directors when necessary and advise you on procedures, timetables and statutory requirements
  6. We can draft Board Meeting minutes for your bankers, insurers, trade suppliers or creditors

We provide these services at varying levels to companies of all sizes. You can either choose to pay an annual fee or pay a monthly retainer, whichever best suits your company’s cash flow.
